Terms of Service

Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator of Q-loop (hereinafter “Operator”) and the customers who use the service (hereinafter “Customer”).

Article 2 — Definitions

  • “Service” means the AI-powered survey and interview service in which Customers input one core question and a goal, and AI automatically generates follow-up questions and provides analysis insights from collected responses.
  • “Customer” means a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account, creates surveys, and views results.
  • “Respondent” means a person who accesses a survey URL distributed by a Customer and submits responses. Respondents may participate without a separate account.
  • “Credit” means a unit purchased to use the Service. One credit allows the creation and operation of one survey (up to 11 AI questions (adaptive mode may end earlier based on response depth), up to 10 respondents).

Article 3 — Validity and Changes to Terms

  • These Terms take effect upon publication within the Service.
  • If the Operator amends these Terms, the updated content and effective date will be announced in advance within the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 4 — Account Registration and Management

  • Only individuals aged 16 or older may create an account.
  • Customers must register a valid email address and password and are solely responsible for managing their account credentials.
  • Registering under another person's identity or providing false information is prohibited.
  • Customers must notify the Operator immediately upon discovering any unauthorized access to their account.

Article 5 — Credit Purchase and Use

  • Credits are purchased at $14.99 (USD) per credit via Lemon Squeezy. Payment is processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as Merchant of Record, using methods supported by Lemon Squeezy (e.g., credit cards).
  • Credits do not expire and accumulate after purchase. This is not a subscription service.
  • One credit is deducted upon creating a survey. No refunds are available after a survey has been created.
  • Refunds for unused credits are subject to Lemon Squeezy's refund policy. For refund inquiries, please contact Lemon Squeezy customer support or the Operator at the email address listed below.
  • If an account is suspended due to fraudulent activity or a violation of these Terms, refunds for remaining credits may be restricted.

Article 6 — Prohibited Activities

Customers must not engage in the following activities:

  • Creating surveys that unlawfully collect other individuals' personal information
  • Distributing surveys containing illegal, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory content
  • Sending automated mass requests that impose excessive load on the Service infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineering or reproducing the source code or database structure of the Service without authorization
  • Submitting fake responses in bulk to distort survey results
  • Any other activity that violates applicable laws or public order and morals

Article 7 — AI-Generated Content and Analysis Results

  • The Service uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate follow-up questions and analysis results. AI-generated questions and analysis are provided for reference only; the Operator does not warrant their accuracy or completeness.
  • When using AI analysis results for material business decisions, Customers bear the responsibility to independently verify the results.
  • Intellectual property rights in survey response data and analysis results belong to the Customer.

Article 8 — Service Interruption and Changes

  • The Operator may temporarily suspend the Service for unavoidable reasons, including system maintenance, failures of third-party APIs (e.g., Claude, Supabase), or force majeure events.
  • Service features, pricing, and plan structures may be changed with prior notice.
  • If the Service is to be discontinued, Customers will be notified at least 30 days in advance, including instructions on how remaining credits will be handled.

Article 9 — Limitation of Liability

  • The Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service (including lost opportunities or lost profits).
  • The Operator is not liable for damages caused by circumstances attributable to the Customer, including loss of account credentials or unauthorized sharing of survey URLs.
  • The Operator's maximum liability relating to the Service shall not exceed the total credit purchase amount paid by the relevant Customer during the preceding 12 months.

Article 10 — Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Disputes arising in connection with the Service shall first be resolved through consultation between the Operator and the Customer. If no agreement is reached, the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall serve as the court of first instance.

Article 11 — Personal Data Processing Delegation

  • When a Customer distributes a survey and collects responses from Respondents, the Operator processes personal data (including survey responses) on behalf of the Customer. In this relationship, the Customer acts as the Data Controller and the Operator acts as the Data Processor.
  • The Operator processes Respondent data solely for the purpose of operating the Service as instructed by the Customer, and does not use such data for any other purpose.
  • Survey response data is retained for the duration of the Customer's account and for up to 1 year after a survey is closed. Upon account termination or written request, the Customer's data will be deleted within 30 days.
  • The Operator stores data on infrastructure provided by Supabase, Inc. (United States). Customers who require data to remain within a specific jurisdiction should contact the Operator before using the Service.
  • The Customer is responsible for obtaining any legally required consent from Respondents prior to distributing surveys, including disclosures required under applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, Korea's Personal Information Protection Act).
  • Requests to delete a specific Respondent's data should be submitted by the Customer to the Operator via the contact email below. The Operator will process such requests within 30 days.
